CSBOXLA Launches Fall Youth & High School Box Lacrosse Programs for Boys and Girls
Colorado Springs, CO — The Colorado Springs Box Lacrosse Association (CSBOXLA) is proud to announce the launch of its Fall Box Lacrosse Programs for boys and girls of all ages, including youth divisions and a brand new High School Girls program. These offerings mark the continued growth of box lacrosse in the region and are designed to develop athletes at every level through fast-paced, focused training and gameplay.
Beginning this fall, CSBOXLA will offer separate programming for players in 2nd through 12th grade, providing opportunities for both newcomers and experienced players to sharpen their skills in a competitive, supportive environment. Each session will include age-appropriate instruction, position-specific training, and structured scrimmages designed to simulate real box lacrosse action.
“This is more than just a league—it’s a launchpad,” said Rego, founder of CSBOXLA. “We’re building a true developmental system here in Colorado Springs that starts with the youngest players and stretches all the way to high school and adult competition. The energy, the IQ, the confidence these athletes build in the box is game-changing.”
Program Breakdown:
2nd–5th Grade Boys & Girls: A fun and accessible introduction to box lacrosse, focusing on basic skills, movement, and small-sided games. Perfect for beginners or field players looking to cross over.
6th–8th Grade Boys: A developmental program for middle school boys focusing on box-specific strategy, transitions, and situational play. Ideal for athletes preparing for high school and club-level competition.
6th–8th Grade Girls: A foundational program that introduces girls to the indoor game in a supportive setting, combining drills, game situations, and team-building.
High School Girls (9th–12th Grade): A new offering designed to build advanced box skills while preparing athletes for high-level play. Each session includes structured training followed by scrimmages to apply those skills in real-time. No prior box experience is needed—just effort, curiosity, and a competitive mindset.
All programs will take place at SoccerHaus in Colorado Springs, the official home of CSBOXLA. Registration opens soon and spots will be limited.
These programs reflect CSBOXLA’s commitment to growing the game with honor, inclusiveness, and high-level instruction. Whether you’re stepping onto the floor for the first time or building toward the next level, there’s a place for you here.
